If there’s one shop I should work at in a former life, it is Whistles. Not only is the name beautiful, but the clothes are just sensation season after season. These Tyler jeans are the way I’d like to wear distressed denim, with light whiskers and minimal leg show. At £95 they aren’t cheap, but with Whistles you definitely get what you pay for.
Leather is a tricky one, I’m always cautious that I don’t want to look like an extra on Pretty Woman. However, River Island have once again impressed me with their ability to churn out on-trend pieces at a reasonable price. This wrap zip leather skirt is just calling for cosy sweaters and ankle boots.
Check this one out (geddit?!) New Look have once again surprised me with their offerings so far. As a company they’re turning round my preconceptions of them as one that sells cheap, teen appropriate clothes. Their picks on ASOS are usually pretty good, and I just can’t resist a piece that combines two of my favourite clothing shades – burgundy and navy. Plus this checked boyfriend jacket is only £29.99, which you know, helps.
