My passion for at-home skincare is increasing as the months go by. Boots had a buy one get one free offer, so I got their Micro-dermabrasion exfoliator for free. It’s normally £11 here, which is quite good value for money considering you only need to use a small amount.
The product itself is a white, cream which feels gritty on your fingers but once applied to the face in small circles isn’t harsh on the skin. It isn’t recommended that you use this product on sunburnt or sore skin, but luckily the eczema on my face is only on my eyes at the moment – and I wouldn’t use it there anyway!
Unlike a lot of other exfoliators, this one uses aluminium-oxide micro-crystals to buff away the dull skin cells on your face. After using it a few times, it is supposed to stimulate skin cell renewal to work against issues such as fine lines.
Although I don’t have any fine lines just yet, I really love this product. Unlike a lot of exfoliators I have tried in the past, this doesn’t leave my skin raw and tight. Instead after using my skin is noticeably softer and supple, and a whole lot clearer.
If you’ve not tried any skincare from No7, I’d definitely recommend it. It’s a brand I’d not really tried until recently, and I’m finding myself quite impressed with the results of the products I have tried!
